Main Article Content
Abstract
The aviation industry is a high-technology sector characterized by intensive innovation processes, significant capital requirements, and elevated risk levels. Sustainable development and international competitiveness of aviation industry enterprises largely depend on the effectiveness of economic mechanisms that stimulate innovative activity. This study examines the existing economic mechanisms for encouraging innovation in aviation enterprises and identifies key challenges limiting their efficiency. The research focuses on financial, fiscal, investment, and institutional instruments used to support research and development, technology transfer, and the commercialization of innovative products. Based on a systematic analysis and international best practices, recommendations are proposed to improve the economic mechanism for stimulating innovation, including the enhancement of state support measures, optimization of tax incentives, expansion of innovation-oriented investment tools, and strengthening public–private partnerships. The implementation of an integrated and flexible incentive system will contribute to increased innovation activity, improved technological performance, and sustainable growth of aviation industry enterprises.
